The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is governed by a Board of Directors who set the strategic direction for the Chamber and work with members, public officials and community leaders to enhance the economic vibrancy of the area.

Shanna Cahalane*

Vice President and the Director of Marketing for Reading Cooperative Bank. Her duties include full oversight of the bank’s marketing communications, public relations and community relations activities to increase market share and profitability. Shanna is the 2018 President of the Reading North Reading Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Masters’ Degree in Communications Management from the Simmons College School of Management. Shanna resides in Watertown with her husband, Michael and their twin girls and loves to spend time in Maine.

Francine Coughlin*

Owner of Bark n’ Roll in North Reading, a canine care service offering on-site daycare, boarding and training and in-home walking, sitting and training services. A proud “mother” of four rescue pups and one lovely human daughter, Francine holds many certifications including ABC (Animal Behavior College) certified dog trainer and Certified Behavior Consultant. Francine is also founder of BnR’s Rock n’ Rescue, a non-profit with the mission of training and homing dogs in need in the community and abroad.

Mike O'Brien

Director of Admissions at Austin Preparatory School, a coeducational Catholic independent day school that is located in Reading, MA. Prior to Austin Prep, Mike was an Assistant Director of Admissions and Head Lacrosse Coach at private schools in both the Philadelphia and Virginia school markets.

Josh Harrington

A local insurance broker and the owner of JH Insurance Group, which specializes in Health, Life, Disability and supplemental insurance such as critical illness policies. For more than 15 years Josh has worked with small business owners, individuals, and families to help them secure the right insurance to properly protect their family. Josh is very involved in the community and currently lives in North Reading with his wife and three young boys.

Jackie Carpenito

Co-owner of Axle Color Studio, an award-winning hair salon and makeup studio in North Reading. Jackie is the studio’s makeup artist, where she specializes in all facets of makeup, from weddings to editorial work. Jackie is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication and Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. Prior to founding Axle Color Studio, she was Business Development Manager for a local engineering firm and the Assistant to the Directors of the Boston Film Festival.

Robin Krane*

Owner and marketing director of Fitness Within, a wellness and personal training studio serving Eastern Massachusetts.  They offer a broad range of customizable strategies for a healthy lifestyle which they tailor to effectively fit any group or individual. Whether it is a shared company-wide initiative, a one-on-one personal training or small group training sessions and boot camps, Fitness Within will listen to your goals and shape your habits to ensure your success.

John E. Means

Owner/Founder of Means Business for Computers, based in Reading. Lisa Egan

As the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Lisa’s role is to serve as an advocate for business owners and to provide a bridge between town government and community. Prior to her Chamber role, Lisa was a voting member of the Sturges Park Master Planning Committee and helped raised $50K for the Joshua Eaton playground. Lisa also operated her own writing and project management firm in the educational and IT space. Her entrepreneurial experience provides a valuable perspective in her role as Executive Director of the Chamber.

Nancy Wolff Leary

President and founder of Online Amplify in Reading. Online Amplify helps individuals and businesses grow their brands through an optimized online presence and increased visibility. Services include strategic marketing consulting, content creation, websites, blogging, email marketing, social media, project management and SEO. Online Amplify partners with clients based on their preference, offering instruction, tools and expertise, or serving as an outsourced marketing department. Nancy also serves as a client mentor for the Center for Women and Enterprise.

Brian Shue

General Manager of The Horseshoe Grille in North Reading. Brian has been in the food industry over 20 years whilst gaining expertise in customer service, event planning, food and beverage acquired through professional experience and personal interest. He has a passion for cycling and a plethora of pedantic knowledge accumulated watching the History channel. Brian believes giving back to the communities where we live and work is imperative.

Michael Doyon*

President of Doyon’s TV & Appliance, based in Reading, MA.  Doyon’s is a family owned business that specializes in sales and service of house hold appliances.  In addition to selling appliances, Doyon’s also offers kitchen design, cabinets, and counter tops.  It’s your one stop shop for a complete kitchen makeover.

Virginia P. Yeanacopolis

Has been AVP Branch Manager at Northern Bank in Reading, MA since 2015.  She has been in banking for over 30 years.  Northern Bank offers Business Products, Business Loans, 1031 Exchanges, Merchants Service, Consumer Banking, Mortgages, and Home Equity and among other services.

Michael F. Conway

Founding partner of Conway Law LLC in Reading, MA. His practice areas include real estate, business law and municipal law. A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, Michael was selected as a “Rising Star” by Boston Magazine from 2005-2012 and named Best Lawyer, Best of The Readings North of Boston Life in 2016, 2017 and 2018.  Mike demonstrates a strong commitment to the local community through his pro bono work, community service, charitable giving and involvement with local business development organizations.

Matt Donnelly

Opened The Maids in North Reading in 1995 and has grown the company exponentially since then, adding branches from Cape Cod to Southern Maine. A 10-time winner of The Best of Boston Award, The Maids has earned the reputation as the most trusted and thorough cleaning company in the industry — and Matt’s hands-on approach to leadership has earned him the reputation as an industry expert. Matt grew up in Reading and graduated from Bentley University. He still resides in Reading with his wife Kathy and children, Jack and Meghan.

Kevin M. Barile

Kevin and his family own and operate the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home in Reading and the Barile Family Funeral Home in Stoneham. Offering personalized at need funeral arrangements tailored to honor and celebrate a loved one, they also create meaningful memories through custom videos, online tributes, church pamphlets, prayer cards and more. Each facility is spacious, modern and comfortable and valet parking is provided. Kevin resides in Stoneham with his wife and two children and is active both in the Reading and Stoneham communities
